(Week 2) Preliminary Research - Analysing Existing Solutions

Questions and ideas to present to client -- suggest to client about what is included in the website:

• introduce service and product to potential customers of client's service -- product introduction and description
• include an enquiry channel / function for the potential customers to make an enquiry for their product
• sales function -- whether it should be included or not
• ask client which kinds of product / service should be made available for online sales
• if "yes" to sales function: suggest online payment methods (e.g. PayPal, Xsolla), details of fees below
• show client some samples of designs and let them choose from templates (after flow chart is finished)

• 3.9% + 2.35 HKD per transaction for HK customers, the amount will be deducted from the merchant account instead of this amount being added to the client's payment.

 Withdrawing money from account through PayPal:

• $1000 or above: no withdrawal fee
• Below $1000: $3.5 HKD transaction fee
• Required time: 2-3 working days

I will present these data to the client and ask for their opinion on what the website should look like, whether PayPal would be a viable method for payment, etc.
